On your special day so many things can go wrong, or the wedding hall can require coverage. Wedding policies are similar to Event insurance bu usually encompass these coverages: Cancellation or postponement of your wedding, stolen wedding gifts, lost deposits coverage, wedding photographs/video coverage, additional expenses, liability insurance, and liquor liability insurance if you are serving Alcohol.  Policies should be purchased at least 90 days in advance of your event. The earlier the better.
